Rapicon welcomes a challenges

Over the years we have been able to devise a number of tailored solutions for our clients. When faced with particularly difficult erection/dismantling hurdles and problematic operating situations. Rapicon has been able to utilize years of experience and expertise to always get the job done.

Montréal Zipline, Vieux port de Montréal

Rapicon helped Montreal Zipline on a spectacular new attraction in Montreal. A modified tower crane was used to erect the bungee tower, offering a unique experience for thrill-seekers, with a breathtaking view before an unforgettable jump.

Muskrat Falls, Happy Valley – Goose Bay (NF)

Rapicon has sold three MD-560’s and two MD-365’s with one MD-365 still being rented for the Muskrat Falls Hydroelectric Generation Facility on the lower Churchill River in Labrador. This is the first job site with this many Rapicon Potain cranes.

Richardson International Grain Terminal, Vancouver (BC)

When the project started they had job site restrictions and found that our tower crane would be the solution to build 28 storage tanks for the Richardson International Grain Terminal. Vancouver then experience its very first brand new crane ever being the MD-560 with an 80 m Jib and 5400 kg capacity. By using our equipment we were able to complete the job 6 months ahead of schedule.

Lansdowne TD Place Stadium, Ottawa (ON)

Rapicon was proud to be a part of the Lansdowne TD place Stadium construction. The project demanded two MD-365’s and we were proud to have our very first Potain MDT-368 flat top acquisition on site.
